Welcome to Choppity. Work through this onboarding checklist to set up your Content OS for steady publishing. Tick items off over your first week rather than rushing in one sitting, and revisit it whenever you onboard a new teammate.

Account setup

• Create your account with Google or email so projects sync across devices.
• Verify your email if prompted, so receipts and team invites arrive reliably.
• Read the dashboard tour so you know where Projects, Ideas, Calendar, and Tools live.

First clip workflow

• Upload a talking-head or podcast video under 4 GB with clear audio.
• Select the correct language before analysis starts.
• Review AI clip suggestions and star your favorites for later editing.
• Open one clip in the editor and make a small transcript edit to learn text-based trimming.
• Apply a caption preset or brand template so exports match your visual identity.

Plan and grow

• Connect a social profile when you are ready to schedule posts on a paid plan.
• Add three ideas to the Ideas board for upcoming content themes.
• Check your usage meter so you understand monthly video hours and storage.
• Upgrade to download or schedule once Free exploration feels right for your channel.

Collaborate

• Invite a teammate as Editor for production help, or Owner for billing access.
• Save brand fonts and colors in Settings so every clip stays consistent.
