My upload is stuck or failed

Seeing a failed or stuck upload is frustrating, but you can usually recover in one retry. This article covers what failed means in Choppity and the fastest fix.
Failed vs stuck
Failed means Choppity stopped and showed an error (wrong format, too large, over 3 hours, or network drop). Stuck means progress paused below 100% for a long time with no error yet.
Fix a failed upload
Read the red error under the upload area (type, size, or duration).
Fix the file: re-export as MP4 under 4 GB, or trim under 3 hours.
Click the upload area and choose the file again.
Wait for 100%, then tap Continue.
Fix a stuck upload
Wait at least 10 minutes on large files (1 GB+).
Refresh the page, re-select the same file, and upload again.
Switch network (phone hotspot test) or disable VPN.
If it fails twice, compress the video and retry.
After upload succeeds
Your folder moves to Analyzing. If analysis fails separately, open the folder and use retry there. That is different from upload failure.
Tips
Do not start a second upload of the same giant file in parallel.
Free plan users can still generate and edit; download limits apply later at export.
Contact support with file size, format, and screenshot of the error if fixes above do not work.
