Maximum file size and video length limits per plan

File size limits protect upload reliability across home Wi-Fi and mobile hotspots. Know them before you ingest huge camera files into your Content OS library.

Per-upload maximum

Each individual upload can be up to 4 GB on every plan. Supported containers are MP4, MOV, and MP3. Longer podcasts may need compression or bitrate reduction before upload.

Duration limits

Maximum duration is 3 hours per file. 4K resolution above 1920px width must be under 60 minutes. Maximum resolution is 3840x2160 pixels.

Plan storage vs file size

File size is how big one upload can be. Monthly storage quota is how much stays in your library total (2 GB Free, 40 GB Starter, 100 GB Pro). A 3 GB file fits the upload limit but still needs enough remaining storage quota.

Over limits

Compress video with HandBrake or similar, or split episodes into parts. Delete unused sources under Storage to reclaim space before retrying a large upload.
