MP4, MOV

Most common for podcasts, webinars, and camera files

Audio only

MP3

Choppity builds clips from speech (great for podcasts)

Size and length limits

  • Maximum file size: 4 GB per upload
  • Maximum length: 3 hours
  • Resolution: up to 4K is accepted; files above 1080p longer than 60 minutes may be blocked

Best quality tips

For the fewest issues, export video as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio. MOV from iPhone or Final Cut usually works. Avoid odd containers, corrupted exports, or DRM-protected screen recordings.

What is not supported

AVI, MKV, WMV, WEBM, and other extensions are rejected at upload. Convert in HandBrake, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve before importing.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid file type: re-export as MP4.
  • File too large: compress or trim under 4 GB.
  • Too long: split the recording or upload a shorter cut.
