Refund policy

We want you to get value from Choppity. This page explains how refunds work for subscriptions billed through Stripe in USD.
General policy
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the paid period but we do not refund unused time on monthly or annual plans.
Switching from annual to monthly billing
If you paid for annual billing but switch to monthly, we do not usually issue a cash refund for unused months. Instead, the unused prepaid amount is applied as account credit on your Stripe billing profile.
Future monthly renewals draw from that credit first. Your payment method is only charged when the credit balance runs out. You will not be billed twice for the same period.
Credit amounts depend on your plan and how much of the annual period remains. If you cancel annual billing and resubscribe on monthly, or if support helps adjust your account after a billing mistake, the same credit logic applies.
Contact support from the app if you need help confirming your credit balance or reviewing a specific charge.
When we may refund
We review refund requests case by case for situations such as:
- Duplicate or accidental charges
- Billing errors confirmed on our side
- Technical issues that prevented meaningful use of paid features, after support has tried to resolve them
How to request help
Email support or use the in-app Contact option. Include your account email, charge date, and receipt amount in USD. Approved refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe.
