Disconnecting or reconnecting a social account

Sometimes you need to switch accounts, fix an expired connection, or remove access for security. You can disconnect or reconnect any linked platform from Social profiles without losing your Choppity projects.
Disconnect an account
- Go to Social profiles in the sidebar.
- Find the connected platform.
- Click the menu (three dots) and choose Disconnect.
Disconnecting stops new posts to that account. Cancel scheduled posts for that platform from the content calendar first if you no longer want them to go out.
Reconnect after expiry
If a profile shows Expired, tokens need refreshing. Click Reconnect, then complete the same authorize popup flow you used originally.
What disconnect does not do
Removing a connection in Choppity does not delete posts already live on the social network. It only revokes Choppity's permission to publish on your behalf.
