A social account won't connect or has disconnected

Most connection issues come from popup blockers, wrong accounts, or expired permissions. Walk through these steps before contacting support.

Check your plan

Connecting social accounts requires a paid plan. On Free, the Connect button shows a lock and opens the upgrade flow. Upgrade first, then try again.

Allow the authorize popup

Choppity opens a popup for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn sign-in. If nothing appears, allow popups for app.choppity.com in your browser settings and disable aggressive ad blockers for the site.

Sign into the right account

  • YouTube: use the Google account that owns or manages the target channel.
  • Instagram: use a Creator or Business account with publishing access.
  • TikTok / LinkedIn: log into the profile you intend to post from.

Still stuck?

Try a private browser window with extensions off, or another browser. Note the platform and any error message, then contact support with a screenshot of Social profiles.
