Quotas: uploads, render minutes and clips per month

Quotas reset monthly and keep cloud processing fair for every customer. Know your limits to avoid surprise pauses mid-campaign when a launch week overlaps a heavy upload batch.

AI Analysis Hours vs storage

Choppity tracks two separate monthly limits:

  • AI Analysis Hours power long-to-short clip generation: uploading a new source, AI transcription, scene detection, and clip scoring. The app labels this as analysis hours in the usage chip and on paywalls when you see "You're out of analysis hours."

  • Cloud storage is how much source video and project data you can keep in your account. Extra storage does not give you more AI analysis.

If you still have storage free but cannot start a new Generate clips run, you need more AI Analysis Hours, not more storage.

Starter includes 3 AI Analysis Hours per month. Pro starts at 5 hours and lets you scale up to 100 hours per month on the Upgrade page.

What consumes quota

Starting a new long-to-short project (upload or YouTube import, then AI clip generation) uses AI Analysis Hours. Stored source files and exports consume storage. Standalone Transcribe and YouTube clipper jobs also count toward their own monthly tool limits.

Track usage

Click the usage chip in the sidebar for a breakdown by category. If analysis hours are low, open Upgrade before starting a large batch.

Need more long-to-short hours on Pro?

Already on Pro and only need more clip generation capacity? You do not need a new plan tier.

  1. Open the Upgrade page.

  2. On the Pro card, drag the AI Analysis Hours slider to increase your monthly allowance (up to 100 hours).

  3. Complete checkout. Your new allowance applies for the current billing period.

Most cost-effective options:

  • Increase AI Analysis Hours on the slider if you only need a few more hours per month on monthly billing.

  • Annual billing (50% off) if you produce every month and want the lowest effective rate. Annual is billed upfront.

There is no separate add-on for analysis-only hours. Adjusting the Pro slider is the self-serve path. For custom volume beyond 100 hours, reach us via Contact in the dashboard sidebar.
