Clip length shapes pacing, captions, and how much context fits in one post. Choppity lets you target anywhere from a quick hook to a mini story.

Available durations

In Generate clips, open Clip duration on the customize step. You can set 15 seconds to 3 minutes (180 seconds) with the slider or number field. Quick presets include 30s, 45s, 60s, 90s, and 2 minutes on some screens.

How to change duration

  1. Start or open Generate clips.
  2. Reach the customize step after your video is ready.
  3. Adjust Clip duration before you start analysis.
  4. Generate. New clips aim for that length (AI may trim slightly for clean endings).

Tips

  • 60 seconds is the default and works well for most creators.
  • Shorter lengths produce more, tighter clips from the same source.
  • Want a different length later? Regenerate from the same video with new settings.
