Launch the recorder

Open Screen recorder from the create menu or dashboard. Grant browser permission to share your screen, tab, or window. Optionally enable microphone and camera for picture-in-picture talking head frames.

Record and upload

Hit record, present your content, then stop. Choppity uploads the capture to your library and can start clip analysis like any other upload. Screen plus camera tracks stay aligned for vertical reframing later.

Turn recordings into clips

Run AI clip finding on long recordings to extract highlights for social. Edit with captions and brand templates before scheduling product updates, course teasers, or release notes.

Tips

Close noisy notification tabs, use Chrome, and record at moderate resolution if bandwidth is tight. Trim dead air in the transcript editor after processing to keep clips punchy.
