Saving, previewing and exporting your edits

Your edits save as you work, but knowing how preview, download, and publishing fit together helps you move from draft to published content inside Choppity's Content OS.
Saving your project
Choppity auto-saves changes on a short delay. Click Save to flush everything immediately; the button shows Saved when your project and assets are stored. Save and exit saves, refreshes the preview thumbnail if needed, and returns you to your folder or calendar workflow.
Preview while you edit
On desktop, the preview player stays visible on the right. On mobile, tap Preview video to open a preview sheet. Switch between 360p and 1080p preview quality under the player. Scrub the timeline or press play to check pacing, captions, and framing before you export.
Download your video
Click Download in the header to render an MP4. Progress appears on the button; when it shows Done, click again to save the file to your device.
Free plan: you can edit and preview the full workflow, but downloading requires a paid plan. Clicking Download on Free opens an upgrade prompt so you can unlock exports when you are ready.
Other export options
Use the overflow menu and choose Export frame to save a JPEG of the current frame (available on all plans). From the header you can also Post or schedule to connected social accounts on paid plans, or Share project with a link for collaborators.
