What is a brand template?

A brand template is your reusable visual identity inside Choppity's Content OS. Save once, apply to every clip, and stay consistent across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and any platform you publish to.
What templates include
Templates store caption styles (font, size, color, animation), logo placement, background treatments, safe zones for vertical video, and optional text overlays. They turn raw AI clips into on-brand content in one click instead of ten manual tweaks per export.
Templates vs one-off edits
Manual styling per clip works for experiments, but templates scale production. Agencies use them to enforce client guidelines; solo creators use them to keep a recognizable look without redesigning every export from scratch.
Where templates live
Saved templates appear when you start a new long-to-short video project. From Projects, open Generate clips (or Short clips), add your source, then pick a saved template on the Customize step before analysis runs.
There is not a standalone templates page yet. To rename, delete, or replace a template (including when you hit your plan limit), use the Template dropdown on that Customize step. See Editing or deleting a brand template for step-by-step instructions.
Team workspaces share templates with all Editors, so everyone exports matching creative even when working async across time zones.
Plan limits
Free accounts include a starter template allowance. Paid plans unlock more custom templates and custom font uploads. If you are at your limit, delete an unused template from the Customize step dropdown before saving a new one. See Which plan is right for me? for exact counts on Starter and Pro before you standardize a full client library.
