Processing is taking longer than expected

Cloud processing times vary with file length, resolution, and server load. Most jobs finish without action, but long waits happen during peak hours or on very large sources.
Normal timing
Short videos often complete in minutes. Multi-hour podcasts or 4K sources take longer because transcription and clip finding run sequentially behind the scenes. The folder checklist shows active stages so you know work is moving.
Why delays happen
Peak usage, re-analysis, or optional processing features add time. Slow home upload speeds also stretch the early upload step even after the progress bar starts moving on screen.
What you can do
Keep the tab open until upload hits 100 percent. Refresh the folder page after 30 minutes if progress looks frozen. Avoid starting duplicate uploads of the same file which waste quota twice.
When to contact support
If processing exceeds 24 hours or errors repeat after retry, use Contact in the sidebar with your folder name and approximate upload time for faster troubleshooting.
