Storage limits and how to free up space

Storage holds source uploads, intermediate files, and renders. Freeing space keeps your Content OS running when you approach plan caps and processing would otherwise pause.

Check usage

Open Storage in the sidebar or the usage menu. See which assets consume the most GB. Full storage blocks new uploads until you delete files or upgrade your plan tier.

Delete safely

Remove source videos you no longer need if clips are already exported and backed up elsewhere. Deleting a folder removes its clips too, so confirm before removing active client work.

Free plan at 2 GB

Free workspaces fill quickly with long MP4s. Export finished clips on a paid plan, download transcripts, then delete sources to make room for the next experiment without paying for archive space.

Upgrade option

Starter includes 40 GB and Pro includes 100 GB. Upgrade under Settings if you keep many raw files inside Choppity instead of external drives or NAS systems.
