Clean audio keeps viewers engaged. Choppity helps you remove verbal filler automatically and cut long pauses manually from the same transcript view you use for editing.

Remove filler words automatically

  1. Select your video and open the Cut sub-tab.
  2. Open Settings on the right.
  3. Toggle Remove filler words on.

Choppity scans the transcript and cuts common fillers such as um and uh. Toggle off to restore removed sections instantly.

Add custom filler words

Type a word in Add a filler word and press Enter to include phrases your speakers repeat. Click the x on a chip to remove it from the list.

Remove silences and pauses

There is no separate silence toggle today. To trim dead air, switch to Cut mode and drag across the quiet gap between words in the transcript.

Review in preview

Play the clip after cleanup. Restore short breaths between sentences when a speaker needs a beat for emphasis.
