Allowlist: keeping certain words uncensored

Sometimes AI flags a word that should stay audible: a brand name, song title, or quoted line. Allowlist control keeps nuance in your Content OS output when automatic censoring is too aggressive.
Uncensor specific words
Open the profanity transcript list in the clip editor. Click a highlighted word to toggle it off the censor list. That word plays normally in preview and export without a bleep or mute.
When to allowlist
Use allowlisting for intentional strong language in comedy, documentary quotes, or product names that look like profanity to the model. Document decisions for client brands so future editors understand context.
Re-enable censoring
Click the word again to mark it censored. Changes save with the project and apply on the next render you download or schedule.
Limits today
There is no global custom dictionary yet; allowlisting is per word per project. Reuse settings by saving a template after you finish tuning a show's language rules for a season.
