Turning on the auto-censor

Auto-censor keeps profanity out of brand-safe clips without manual beeping every word. It runs as part of your Content OS export pipeline for family-friendly or corporate channels.

Enable censoring

Open a clip, go to the video or profanity panel, and turn Censored on. Choppity detects strong language in the transcript and mutes or replaces it based on your audio and caption settings.

Preview before export

Play the timeline to hear censored sections. Adjust sensitivity by clicking individual words in the profanity word list to force censor or allow when context differs from the default model.

Choose audio treatment

Pick bleep, mute, or silence-style handling in profanity settings. Set bleep volume so it sits under voice without jumping louder than dialogue.

Team policies

Owners can lock profanity settings on team templates so junior editors cannot disable censoring on client work before export day.
