Add B-roll in the editor

Open a clip, select the B-roll workspace, and upload MP4 clips or pick from your asset library. Drag segments onto the timeline above your main video track aligned to sentences.

Align to script

Place B-roll where the speaker mentions a product, location, or demo. Match length to the sentence by trimming in the timeline or transcript so visuals change when ideas change.

AI-generated B-roll

Where available, describe a scene to generate stock-style B-roll without shooting. Use it sparingly for metaphors or abstract concepts that are hard to film quickly.

Pacing tips

Change visuals every 3 to 5 seconds on short-form to hold attention. Avoid covering faces during emotional beats unless intentional for comedic or narrative effect.
