Manually adjusting the crop or framing keyframes

Auto-framing handles most talking-head clips, but interviews and demos sometimes need a human touch. Manual crop keyframes let you set exactly what appears in frame at each scene.

Open crop controls

Select your video and open the Crop sub-tab. The preview canvas shows the active crop box for the current frame.

Adjust the crop box

Drag the box to reframe. Pull handles to resize. Click Add crop box if you need an additional focal area (up to four boxes for multi-speaker layouts).

Add and edit keyframes

  1. Move the playhead to where framing should change.
  2. Click Split scene under Scene controls.
  3. Reposition the crop box for the new scene.

Check every aspect ratio

Framing is stored separately for Portrait, Square, and Landscape. Switch ratios under the preview player and verify each output before download or scheduling.
